1. Overview
Little Brush Games (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides the mobile game Truth or Mole. We aim to collect as little personal data as reasonably possible.
Truth or Mole does not require a Little Brush Games account and does not provide public user-generated content features through Little Brush Games services.

2. Data we may process
Depending on your device, app-store platform, and app version, we may process the following categories of data:
- Anonymous or aggregated analytics, such as feature usage, screen views, app version, approximate region, device type, language, session length, and gameplay balance statistics.
- Technical and crash data, such as operating system, device model, performance information, crash logs, error reports, and diagnostics.
- Purchase and subscription status, such as whether a subscription or in-app purchase is active, expired, cancelled, or refunded. Subscriptions and purchases are handled natively through Apple App Store and Google Play, and the app stores normally handle payment details directly.
- Support communications, such as your email address and message content if you contact us for help.
- App-store platform data, such as information made available by Apple App Store, Google Play, or similar distribution platforms.
We do not intentionally collect full payment card details, government IDs, precise location, public posts, or Little Brush Games account credentials for Truth or Mole.
3. How we use data
We use data to:
- provide, maintain, and improve Truth or Mole;
- understand anonymous gameplay and product usage patterns;
- debug crashes, errors, and performance issues;
- verify subscriptions, purchases, and premium access;
- respond to support requests;
- protect the game, users, and our rights;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, app-store, and consumer protection obligations.
4. Legal bases under GDPR
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the game, subscriptions, purchases, premium access, and support.
- Legitimate interests: to maintain security, prevent abuse, debug, improve the game, and understand anonymous or aggregated usage.
- Consent: where required, for optional analytics, cookies, marketing, or similar processing.
- Legal obligation: to comply with tax, accounting, consumer protection, platform, and legal requirements.
5. Analytics
Truth or Mole may use anonymous, aggregated, or pseudonymous analytics to understand how the game is used and how to improve it. We do not use analytics to identify you by name.
Truth or Mole currently uses Firebase Analytics by Google for analytics. Depending on the platform and SDK configuration, technical identifiers such as Firebase installation identifiers, app instance identifiers, device information, IP-derived approximate region, or event identifiers may be processed before reports are aggregated or anonymised. Where required by law or platform policy, analytics choices will be provided in the app or through your device settings.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed natively by the platform where you obtained the app, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. These platforms may process payment information, receipts, tax information, refund requests, and subscription status under their own terms and privacy policies.
We may receive limited purchase or subscription status information needed to unlock premium features and provide support.
7. Children and age-appropriate content
Truth or Mole is intended for the age rating shown in the relevant app store. The game may include different question packs or content modes intended for different audiences, including family-friendly content and content intended for adults only.
Users, parents, or guardians are responsible for selecting age-appropriate content. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the age required by applicable law without appropriate parental consent.
If you believe a child has provided personal data to us without required consent, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
8. Third-party services
Truth or Mole may rely on third-party services for app distribution, subscriptions, analytics, crash reporting, hosting, device operating-system features, and support. These providers may process data according to their own privacy policies.
Currently known providers include Apple App Store, Google Play, Firebase Analytics by Google, GitHub Pages, and Cloudflare.
Truth or Mole does not currently use advertising networks.
9. Cookies and website data
This legal website may be hosted through GitHub Pages and may be delivered through Cloudflare or similar infrastructure. Basic technical data, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and request logs, may be processed by hosting or security providers to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
We do not currently intend this legal website to require user accounts or public posting features.
10. Sharing of data
We may share data with:
- service providers that help us operate the game and website;
- app stores, payment processors, and platform providers;
- professional advisers, authorities, or courts where legally required;
- successors in case of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or asset transfer.
We do not sell personal data.
11. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country or outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
12. Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the game, maintaining security, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing agreements.
Anonymous or aggregated analytics may be kept for longer because it does not identify individual users.
13. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, receive a copy of your data, or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise rights, contact us at support@littlebrushgames.com. Because Truth or Mole does not require an account and primarily uses anonymous or aggregated analytics, we may not always be able to identify data related to a specific person without additional information.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where reasonably possible.
